The Best in Stand Up: Paul Thorne, at Comedy Store in London on Friday 14 September 2018 at 19:30 hours. Standup shows-london.

Paul Thorne is one of Britain’s most established and sought-after stand-ups. As well as performing at all of the UK’s major comedy venues and festivals he can be seen weekly at London’s Comedy Store as a member of The Cutting Edge team of comedians who perform topical material based on the week’s news. In addition to performing all over Europe Paul has taken his unique brand of comedy as far afield as Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada, Singapore, China and Japan and has toured extensively with Jack Dee, Lee Hurst and Rory Bremner.

At just 24 years old, Ivo Graham's gauche charm belies a talent rarely seen in someone so young. The Eton and Oxford alumnus combines insightful stories of adolescence with a sharp-witted presence that has rapidly gained him the acclaim of his audience, fellow artists and the critics alike. After a sell-out debut run at the Edinburgh Festival last year Graham is currently performing his show all over the UK.

In his first year of performing Ivo was awarded the acclaimed 'So You Think You’re Funny New Act’ competition at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards. While still at university in Oxford he began doing professional gigs around the country and also performed abroad at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and the Hollywood Fringe. Since graduating in 2012, Ivo’s has been in constant demand in clubs and theatres all over the UK circuit culminating in his critically acclaimed debut show and an appearance on BBC3’s 'Edinburgh Fest Live 2013’.

Fresh from supporting some of the UK’s top comedians on their sold out tours including Channel 4’s Chatty Man, Alan Carr, star of The Last Leg, Josh Widdicombe and Scotland’s finest, Kevin Bridges, Suzi Ruffell, is currently on the road with her hotly anticipated second show Social Chameleon. In it the 'stand-up gem’ (The Guardian) questions why she spent twenty-seven years trying to make anyone and everyone like her.

Suzi Ruffell began her stand-up career at just twenty-three years old. After only eighteen months of performing all over the UK this bright young comic from Portsmouth was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2011 and awarded second place in the Latitude Festival New Act Competition 2011. Her debut Edinburgh show in August 2012 saw her receive rave reviews and star in BBC Three’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live. Since then Suzi has gone on to star in Live at the Comedy Store, LOLz Lounge, as well as numerous appearances on Radio 4 including Fresh From The Fringe.

Outside the realms of stand-up Suzi is a talented actor and writer; one of her sitcoms was nominated for a 2012 BAFTA Roclidde New Writing Award and is currently in development. She has also written additional material for TV shows such as The Last Leg, Mock The Week and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

Phil Nichol is a truly unique performer. An acclaimed actor, award winning comedian, producer, presenter, writer and musician - there is no end to his talent!
