Mon 22 Apr 2019, 19:30 - Southbank Centre, Londonclassical music Chineke! Orchestra Part of Associate Orchestras The orchestra marks the first Stephen Lawrence Day, held on the anniversary of the teenager´s murder in 1993, with a concert of works by BME composers.
The concert is preceded by a panel discussion at 5pm, introduced by Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Stephen´s mother, that looks at the progress London has made since Stephen’s murder.
